Emmerdale cast face ‘bloodbath’ as big earners reportedly set for the chop

An industry insider claims that some of Emmerdale’s highest paid employees may need to be on the lookout given the impending cull.

Many actors from the Emmerdale cast have left the serial opera as of 2023. Priya Sharma, who was portrayed by Fiona Wade, Marcus Dean, who was portrayed by Darcy Grey, and Naomi Walters, who was portrayed by Karene Peters, have all been seen leaving the town. Additionally, the widely reported passing of the character Rishi Sharma.

People in Emmerdale and its sister soap operas Coronation Street and EastEnders who make above £200,000 annually, according to an industry insider quoted by Heart, may lose their jobs.

The TV source admitted that Corrie, Emmerdale, and EastEnders are going to experience a carnage, and it won’t be nice. “All three of the “big three” have been informed that they must reduce their salary costs by up to 25%. The green rooms are now filled with anxiety over potential chop candidates.
