EastEnders spoilers: Sharon Watts’ shock as surprise Christmas return confirmed for Jada Lennox
In EastEnders, Jada Lennox (Kelsey Calladine-Smith) offers to bring Alyssa back to the Square for the holiday season in order to fulfill Sharon Watts’ (Letitia Dean) Christmas desire.
When Janine Butcher (Charlie Brooks) blackmailed the youngster into staying quiet about the circumstances that led to Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) briefly losing custody of baby Annie, the girl left Walford back in August.
By forcing Jada to hide alcohol bottles in the home she shared with the landlady, Janine had earlier conned Jada into helping her eliminate Linda as a potential love interest. After calling social services, an investigator showed up to look into the situation.
To Jada’s dismay, Baby Annie was taken away from Linda as a result of the ruckus, as the social workers noticed bruises on her arms.
Jada tried to correct her error, but Janine wasn’t having it and threatened her with dire consequences if she didn’t keep quiet.
Jada admitted to Sharon that she had phoned social services but had omitted mentioning Janine out of remorse. But before she had a chance to correct it, she departed Walford with Alyssa, upsetting both Linda and Sharon.
Linda was able to recover baby Annie with the aid of Mick (Danny Dyer). While this has been going on, Sharon has been struggling without her granddaughter and is unsure of her whereabouts.
But when Jada contacts her in the ensuing weeks and offers to bring Alyssa to her house for Christmas Day, she gets a tremendous shock. Given what Jada did to Linda, Linda is enraged while Sharon is overjoyed.
However, seeing how important it would be for Sharon to spend time with her granddaughter, the landlady decides to make other plans for the holidays, keeping a low profile.
Will Jada come back to the Square to make amends and expose Janine in the process?
As she gets ready to marry Mick, Janine has everything she could possibly want. But will everything crumble when the truth about her deceit and lies comes to light?
