EastEnders Howie Danes star’s TV past exposed including Pirates of the Caribbean role

Delroy Atkinson’s role as Howie Danes in EastEnders is likely what TV viewers recognize him for most.

Late in 2021, the actor made his debut in Albert Square.

Delroy has already amassed a sizable fan base, and he currently has more than 2,000 followers on Twitter.

But many of the star’s followers might not be aware that he has also played a few very ostentatious parts in the past.

Delroy has been in other TV dramas like Luther and Holby City, and he even tasted success in Hollywood with a role in a Pirates of the Caribbean movie.

In the Pirates of the Caribbean film Dead Men Tell No Tales from 2017, Hollywood A-lister Johnny Depp appeared on screen alongside Delroy.

The fifth installment of the Captain Jack Sparrow film series was released.

Delroy portrayed Pike, a pirate and member of the Dying Gull’s crew.

The persona was unafraid to get his hands dirty and carried a flintlock and a cutlass.

Two years later, the actor was cast in Luther, the critically acclaimed criminal drama starring Idris Elba as DCI John Luther, a favorite on television.

He appeared in two episodes of the fifth season of the program as Derek Hayes.

The actor had a successful year last year.

He was cast in It’s A Sin, the highly praised series about a group of gay men and their friends during the HIV crisis in the 1980s, in addition to his Walford role.

In a handful of the miniseries’ episodes, Delroy portrayed Mr. Ibisu.

The actor received a guest role in Holby City the same year that lasted for numerous episodes.

He portrayed Delroy Jones, a patient at the hospital who was suffering from a terminal illness.

Before dying, the individual had a brief encounter with staff nurse Kylie (Amy Murphy).
