EastEnders: Dotty Cotton is about to go out with a bang as her exit storyline kicks in over the next few weeks.
As part of her EastEnders leaving plot, Dotty Cotton (Milly Zero) is going to leave on a high note over the coming weeks.
Next week, the well-liked character, a fixture on Albert Square for three years, will lament the passing of her cherished grandma Dot Branning (June Brown).
Last week, after Sonia Fowler (Natalie Cassidy) received a call breaking the tragic news, the residents of Walford learned of Dot’s passing.
On Monday, December 12, there will be a memorial service for Dot, at which time characters from the past and present will come together to say goodbye to the beloved character.

Dot’s second cousin Reiss Colwell (Jonny Freeman) shows up for the sorrowful occasion. He gets along well with Sonia, who requests that he stay until after the will reading since she worries about ending up homeless if Dotty inherits the House.
Sonia is tremendously anxious on the day of the lecture. Dotty, however, is ecstatic about the idea of selling the house and traveling the globe.
Then Dot’s attorney, Kenneth Foskett, shows up and informs Sonia, Dotty, Reiss, and Jack of Dot’s final wishes.
who has what, though?
Although it is still up in the air, we do know that Dotty will leave Walford in later scenes.
Actress Milly Zero declared in a statement published last month on Instagram that she had “decided that my journey with legend Dotty Cotton has come to an end” after working with her for three and a half years.
I can’t even begin to express how fantastic and life-changing my time on EastEnders has been, or how much I’m going to miss it, but I’m now prepared for new challenges.
