Daisy Midgeley and Ryan Connor get shocking news in Coronation Street
After using a jar of acid to attack Ryan Connor and Daisy Midgeley, JUSTIN Rutherford was taken into custody.
Both characters in Coronation Street receive a shocking update regarding the troublesome character the next week.
When Justin (former Hollyoaks star Andrew Still) exacted revenge on Daisy on her wedding day, Daisy’s stalker horror reached horrifying new heights.
Ryan Connor (Ryan Prescott) protected Charlotte Jordan’s character, the Rovers bartender, from the acid, and the handsome man was rushed to the hospital right away with severe injuries.
A further ruse by Daisy led to Justin’s eventual arrest, and he will now stand trial for his crimes.
But when the unstable Justin enters a not guilty plea at his plea hearing the following week on ITV, Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard) is taken aback.
Daisy couldn’t face the hearing, so the Weatherfield teacher and journalist braces himself to break the news to her.
Later, she phones the hospital to provide Ryan and Alya Nazir—both of whom are hurt—the latest information (Sair Khan).
The waiter at the Bistro says he’s terrified out of his mind at the prospect of having to relive his nightmare in court, but Alya reassures him that she’ll be there with him every step of the way.
How will she respond if he confesses his love to her?
It remains to be known, but Daisy brings Crystal to visit Ryan in the hospital in an effort to cheer him up and boost his confidence.
He expresses gratitude to her for inviting Crystal and explains that talking about gigs in Ibiza, where he had intended to settle before his acid incident, offers him something to think about and anticipate.
While hospital staff won’t let Ryan go home until he has seen his injuries, Ryan needs a lot of assistance.
Next week, with help from Carla Connor (Alison King), he manages to do it.
However, the surgeon informs him that he needs a skin transplant because his recovery is not progressing as they had planned when he turns to look at his face.
Later images show things getting much worse when Daisy and Carla discover Ryan’s hospital room deserted and without his backpack.
Then a search party is organized, but will they ever succeed in finding Ryan?
