Sally Carman, a cast member of Coronation Street, has been gushing on social media about her new husband while the couple is in Italy for their honeymoon.
The actress who plays Abi Webster wed Joe Duttine last week in a private church wedding.
Last week, the soap opera star posted a photo of herself wearing a floor-length, lace blue gown at their wedding.
Her new husband was dressed in a light blue suit, white shirt, and flat cap.
Sally captioned the sentimental picture, “We did,”
They have traded Weatherfield’s cobblestone alleys for places like Verona and Lake Garda as they indulge in marital happiness.
Over the course of the week, Sally has been keeping fans updated via social media on the exciting honeymoon.
The first picture she posted was from the weekend and showed the couple eating outside with some friends. She accompanied the caption with a series of yellow heart emojis and said, “Italy, the gift that keeps on giving.”
The actress then posted pictures of them at the opera, where they appear to have enjoyed a lavish supper.
Posing with a menu in her hands and a pop of red lipstick on her lips as she gazed to the camera, Sally wrote: “Pre opera dinner with my husband!” before including the hashtags “#goodhusband” and “#husbandbehindthecamera.”
And soon the compliments started pouring in.
Someone remarked: “Beautiful picture. Best wishes to you both.”
Another person commented, “Looking lovely.”
“Aww you look amazing love your hair, enjoy guys,” said a third.
“You look amazing, wishing you both a nice honeymoon,” a fourth person said.
As she tweeted a photo of the actor Tim Metcalf lounging and taking in the scenery, Sally was also seen swooning over him.
She added the hashtag along with the comment “Fit Husband” to the photo.
But her Corrie co-stars weren’t slow to make fun of her.
Tyrone Dobbs, played by Alan Halsall, commented: “Wrong vowel.”
Actor Simon Gregson, who played Steve McDonald, retorted: “Like a great vintage long lost recently discovered bottle of milk.”
And Sally is still having a great time because on Monday, July 18, she shared a picture of herself relaxing while wearing another pair of large, black sunglasses and having her blonde hair pulled back out of her face.
She wrote “Lakeside” as the image’s caption.
