Corrie’s killer Gary Windass could strike again – as Kelly set to expose truth

Fans of the ITV soap opera Coronation Street may anticipate violent scenes as Gary Windass exacts his vengeance.

The protagonist must fight to free Kelly Neelan, a teenage girl who has been abducted and is being held by thugs for ransom.

Prior to his passing a few years ago, Kelly’s mobster father, Rick Neelan, owes money to those who he wronged.

Only this year was he officially declared dead, and when his body was discovered, Kelly was devastated, especially when she learned that her mother Laura Neelan was responsible for his murder.

Kelly was shattered when Laura tragically passed away from cancer a few weeks later.

She has yet to learn, however, that Gary, not Laura, killed Rick.

Additionally, Kelly was so furious that she missed the opportunity to say goodbye to her mother and thought Laura was a murderer that she covered for Gary and took the truth to the grave.

However, Kelly is worried about Gary’s behavior the following week, so his secret may soon be in jeopardy.

Gary decides to help Kelly after learning that she has been abducted by one of Rick’s former clients.

She sends Gary a cryptic message informing him something is seriously wrong after being instructed by her kidnapper to message Gary to claim she is alright.

Because she knows Gary will know about Laura and realize she needs help, she urges him to convince her mother that she is fine.

Soon after taking her hostage, Kieron decides he wants the remaining funds Kelly received from her father. He makes a phone call to Gary through Kelly’s phone and demands £50,000 from him in exchange for Kelly’s release.

Before going to meet the kidnapper, Gary, who anticipates the worst, is able to obtain some of the money.

However, he only has half the ransom, and when he meets the thugs, they make it obvious that Kelly’s life will be miserable unless he can get the remainder of the money.

However, Gary managed to fool them, and he quickly forced his way into the cellar where Kelly was being detained. Kelly was then informed that Gary had hidden a tracking device in the money bag.

However, Kieron breaks in and attempts to stop their escape while carrying a crowbar, sparking a battle between the two guys.

Kelly is astounded by the lengths Gary will go to in order to kill Kieron, but will he make a decision he could later regret?

After witnessing Gary’s actions, Kelly is frightened and confronts him about his plans to murder Kieron when they return to the apartment.

Gary assures her that his actions were completely innocent and that all he was doing was defending her.

Will Kelly believe him, or might this be the turning point where she discovers his true abilities and begins to understand what he did to Rick?
