Corrie’s Debs Brownlow ‘explosive’ return confirmed as Gabrielle Glaister reprises role
Debs Brownlow, who is brassy, is returning to Corrie.
According to the Daily Star, actress Gabrielle Glaister has agreed to a lucrative contract to play the cruise ship entertainment once more.

Producers believe that bringing her back to the serial after 22 years will be TV gold.
On Sunday, a source informed the Daily Star: “Corrie executives approached Gabrielle earlier this year.
“She signed the contract after several top-secret meetings.
“The anticipation for Debs’s return to Weatherfield is now palpable. For fans, it will be a fantastic trip down memory lane.”
Rugged Debs stole a man from her sister Natalie, who was played by Denise Welch, during her time in Weatherfield in 2000.
Her return to the serial is also expected to be quite juicy.
This week, the show’s producers plan to provide further information regarding her return.
Our source also said: “The tales the writers have planned for Debs are fantastic. There will be a lot of drama.”
At Corrie’s Salford set, fan favorite Gabrielle has already begun filming sequences for her comeback.
This fall, her return is anticipated to air.
Over the past three decades, Gabrielle has been in a number of soap operas, including Brookside, Family Affairs, Doctors, and Emmerdale.
Popular television programs Blackadder, Sherlock, Unforgotten, and New Tricks all featured the celebrity.
Since Gabrielle was already well-known for her performances as Patricia Farnham in the competing serial opera Brookside from 1990 to 1997, Gabrielle’s casting as Debs received media interest at the time.
I am a tremendous fan of Coronation Street and I am happy to be working with Denise [Welch], she declared when she initially started on the program.
As a viewer, I’m simply hoping it won’t ruin the experience because I’ll already know what will happen.
