Coronation Street’s Sally Carman enjoys romantic date with real-life co-star husband Joe Duttine

While taking a break from her busy schedule, Coronation Street actress Sally Carman can be seen spending time affectionately with her husband and co-star Joe Duttine.

The 42-year-old Abi Franklin star delighted her followers on Instagram by posting numerous amusing photos from her trip to London, including a picture of her grinning joyously at Trafalgar Square and a loved-up selfie with Joe. Sally and Joe can be seen exploring the city’s eateries and bars in the sweet pictures.

Had a wonderful couple of days in London with this attractive fella, Sally said with the carousel of photos. ‘A big thank you to the sun for appearing.

“The star received a barrage of congratulations on her stunning fashion, and fans wished her a pleasant break.

It’s been roasting in Donny, someone commented, so you look fantastic, Sal! Enjoy yourself (for once, lol). “I hope your having a great week!” a further follower chimed in. It appears that you were traveling because of the beautiful images, wrote a third commenter.

While her husband Joe has portrayed his role Tim Metcalfe on Coronation Street since 2013, Sally has played Abi Franklin there since 2017. The couple made the decision to wed in a grandiose wedding ceremony in Salford, Manchester, in July 2022.

In a recent joyful statement to fans on social media, the TV star revealed she had taken up a career behind the cameras.

The celebrity confirmed that she will direct a theatrical piece that will take place in Manchester’s 53 Two venue’s JB Shorts Festival in October.

Sally posted a poster from the production along with the following message on Instagram: “Very excited to be directing @lindsaywilliams8900 piece for the powerful @jbshortsplays this October at @53two. It runs from the third to the fourteenth; nice to see you. Despite working separately from one another in her new role, the star’s Corrie cast mates have come out in support of her and have pledged to visit her later this year.

Georgia Taylor, who plays Toyah Habeeb in the soap opera, congratulated Sally on her wonderful news and said: “Love this! I will undoubtedly attend.Her husband replied with a string of applauding emojis. In the soap opera, actor Anthony Crank, who plays Dean Turnbull, wrote: “I’ll defo come support youse xxx.” The actress who played Natasha Blakeman continued, “Already booked.”
