Coronation Street’s Georgia Taylor tells co-star ‘we can’t be friends any more’
Over its 61 years on our screens, Coronation Street, the UK’s longest-running soap opera, has experienced numerous fallouts.

Thankfully, most of the cast members are close friends off-screen, so these conflicts are typically saved for dramatic episodes. Recently, the cast of the well-known ITV serial got together to celebrate Christmas late at Manchester’s The Ivy.
Alongside their on-screen roles as Craig Tinker, David Platt, and Nick Tilsley, Colson Smith, Jack P. Shepherd, and Ben Price also co-host a podcast.
The cast of Corrie frequently comments on the social media posts of their co-stars, and on Wednesday Georgia Taylor, who portrays Toyah Habeeb, jokingly informed Todd Grimshaw actor Gareth Pierce that she no longer wanted to be friends with him.
After updating his Instagram followers on his most recent adventure, Gareth posted the comment. The celebrity had hiked and trail run at Dovestone Reservoir.
Sharing several images of breathtaking vistas, he said: “I enjoy hiking and trail running, but I don’t often get to mix the two. #FellRunning is DIFFICULT! Exhilarating descents and lung-busting ascents. I like it.”
Gareth merely responded with a sad face emoji when Georgia said: “I’m afraid you’re too fit and healthy and we can’t be friends any more xx”. Then Georgia responded, using the emoji for a pint of beer, “Unless you can convince me differently.”
Also quickly leaving comments on the post were fans. By Alison Bastow “What a stunning location; I hope you climbed the rock wall. When we were more physically active, we used to go up the path, Lizzie remarked, adding: “I saw you today, and you made my sister’s day.”
