Coronation Street theory: Yasmeen Nazir killed as Stu’s dangerous past uncovered

After learning that Stu had been living on the streets, Yasmeen took him under her wing and hired him to work in her restaurant months ago.

He has proven to be a reliable employee and a friend to Yasmeen and other Weatherfield residents, but could he be keeping something sinister from them?

Coronation Street viewers may have to worry about Yasmeen once more if it turns out that Stu is a dangerous killer.

Recent ITV soap opera episodes featured a disappointed Stu who was upset that his estranged daughter didn’t want to get to know him.

Official spoilers confirm Yasmeen will intervene to try to help out her friend, but this could be a huge mistake.

When Stu learns that Yasmeen has located Bridget’s address, he becomes enraged and scolds her for becoming involved in the situation in subsequent scenes.

But Stu agrees to attempt after Kelly Neelan (Millie Gibson) persuades him to try and get in touch with Bridget.

When he arrives at Bridget’s address, she yells at him to leave after he knocks on the door.

Fans of Corrie will witness Stu pleading with his daughter to listen to him as he tries to reassure her that he has never hurt anyone, but what exactly does he mean by this?

Later, Stu apologizes to Yasmeen for his outburst and tells the truth to her about Bridget.

What is he trying to hide when he claims that it was the wrong address?

While this is going on, Yasmeen ignores Stephen Reid’s (Todd Boyce) advances because she is fixated on another cobbler.

She quickly lets Stu know that he is the one she is interested in, not Stephen.

Stu is thrilled to see Glen when he calls Speed Daal, an old friend of his.

Glen tells Stu he’s starving but short on cash, and the waiter makes a subtle attempt to assist his old friend.

Yasmeen plays along while Stu inserts a £20 bill into the register from his pocket.

Later, she thanks Stu for being so considerate.

Yasmeen thinks it’s a great idea when Stu offers that they give away all the restaurant leftovers to those in need for a pittance.

To talk about their intentions for the remaining food, Stu holds a meeting with some of the locals.

Stu appears nice and innocent, but may he be hiding something?

He tried to reassure his daughter that he didn’t “harm” anyone because it appears that she is terrified of him.

This suggests that he may have formerly been a violent offender. Could he have committed murder?

The only thing that is known about Stu’s history is that he doesn’t keep in touch with his family.

Could Bridget’s mother, Stu’s ex-wife, have been murdered?

It’s probable that he was incarcerated and, upon being freed, was living on the streets until Kelly made a friend of him and Yasmeen recruited him.

Yasmeen had already faced danger at the hands of an aggressive individual.

When she was married to Geoff Metcalfe (Ian Bartholomew), who physically and mentally assaulted her, fans will recall the trauma she endured.

Could she be re-entering the arms of a dangerous man?

Perhaps Glen only received financial assistance from Stu because Glen is well aware of his past and Stu wants him to remain silent.

Yasmeen can put herself in peril after confessing her affections for Stu.

If the two get involved, it’s probable that Stu may start to act more like himself.
