Coronation Street theory: Tracy Barlow sabotages Wendy and Ken’s romantic reunion

Ten years have passed since Wendy Crozier first appeared on Coronation Street, but she has subsequently made a comeback using a different identity.

She has done well so far to avoid her ex-boyfriend Ken, but they will soon get back together.

But Tracy probably won’t appreciate this, and according to a new notion, she might try to ruin their romantic reconciliation.

In following scenes, Wendy explains her problematic relationship with Ken to Abi Franklin (Sally Carman).

Abi exhorts her to reconcile with him and assures her that she would handle Tracy if she shows up.

Abi directs Tracy to the café as they cross the Cobbles, and Wendy calls No. 1 in the meantime.

Tracy was upset to see Wendy leave No. 1 as Abi and Tracy quickly left the diner and turned around.

She approaches the two and prepares for a stand-up argument. Will she express her views clearly?

Could Tracy come up with a scheme to ruin their reunion if she is still angry with Wendy for what transpired between her and Ken?

Will Wendy distance herself from Ken if Tracy expresses her feelings? Or will she keep going for Ken in spite of her angry retort?

Kevin Webster (Michael Le Vell) tells Jack Webster (Kyran Bowes) that he doesn’t have time to help him with his leavers’ presentation speech as he begins cleaning the house in preparation for Abi’s visit.

Jack feels left out, and Abi and Alfie soon stop by No. 13 to see Kevin and Jack.

Kevin is filled with emotion when Abi says that if all goes as planned, they can move back in next week.

With Wendy’s assistance, Abi was finally given the good news after nearly losing all hope of ever being fully reunited with Alfie.

Years after having an affair with Ken Barlow, Wendy, formerly known as Wendy Papadopoulos, got married to Christos Papadopoulos.

Many fans will recall that the characters first became close in 1989, and that their liaison resulted in Ken’s separation from his ex-wife Deidre Barlow (Anne Kirkbride).

Tracy’s animosity against Wendy is explained by this. Could she still be preoccupied with the turmoil from so long ago?

Wendy married Christos, but after his tragic death from lung cancer, Wendy had to return to the cobbles.

When Wendy last visited the cobbles in 2012, they had the chance to resume their relationship, but the steadfast refused her.

Following her rejection, Wendy went a step further and deceived a wary Deirdre into believing they had spent the night together.

When Ken learned this, he was devastated and told Wendy he would never want to see her again.

When she shows up at his door, will he turn her down once more?
