Coronation Street theory: Summer Spellman dies in heartbreaking health battle

After being diagnosed with diabetes and having to start watching her diet and sugar intake, Summer developed bulimia, which she has battled for a time.

With her partner Aaron Sandford, the Coronation Street adolescent has just experienced some joy.

She has however persisted in saying that she feels “embarrassed” by her body, and official ITV soap opera spoilers confirm that her life-threatening sickness will start to impair her relationship.

Could Summer keep her health setback a secret till she sadly passes away?

Summer, who had only recently begun preparing for Oxford University, shocked her father figure Billy Mayhew (Daniel Brocklebank) by revealing she had given up on continuing her education and had decided to stay in Weatherfield.

Billy is unhappy when Summer says in upcoming episodes that she’s certainly not going to university because he had been hoped she would alter her mind.

She clarifies that she will begin the job search instead.

Jack James Ryan’s character Jacob Hay offers to speak well of her at the factory.

When the plan goes as planned, Summer is happy.

Summer is given an interview by Carla Conner (Alison King), who later extends an offer to hire her as a PA.

She is thrilled to get the position but finds it difficult to deal with her anxiety about starting the job.

Soon, a nervous Summer starts working at the factory.

While Sally Metcalfe tries to reassure Summer, Beth Sutherland makes crude remarks to the child.

Later, a reorganized Aaron shows his fiancée the injuries he received after being jumped by some boys on the way home.

Eventually, the two spend the evening alone, but when Aaron approaches, Summer shoos him away.

She yells at him to leave her alone and he walks away, perplexed.

Summer reveals that she truly likes Aaron but can’t take the notion of his seeing her naked body once she has calmed down and agrees to meet him later in Victoria Gardens.

What will he do? He might grow impatient with Summer and exert pressure on her, which unquestionably worsens her condition.

a clueless Billy seems to believe that Summer is making a full recovery after getting some assistance.

He was devastated to learn that she had been intentionally making herself unwell a few months prior.

But after an honest discussion between the two, Summer decided to get assistance.

She confessed to Billy, who was in tears, “I loathed myself.”

I stuffed myself silly, felt happy when I got better after being sick, and then I simply felt shame and dread.

I really don’t want to gain weight, she continued. And please refrain from saying things like, “It’s what’s inside that counts” or similar phrases.

“Okay,” said Billy. Are you okay with me telling you that you’re gorgeous?

Summer responded, “You’re biased. Diabetes simply throws everything out of balance.

I really detest being refused things and having to check my blood sugar.

Billy countered, “I know that stifles your style, but it keeps you alive.

He said that he was “worried sick” about her but pledged to provide her with support from experts.
