Coronation Street star Todd Boyce compares Stephen to Richard Hillman as he addresses serial killer possibility

There is a new murderer in Coronation Street, so beware! This time, it takes the guise of Stephen Reid, a Canadian con artist (Todd Boyce).

This week, Leo (Joe Frost), who was slain by Stephen during a confrontation on the manufacturing gantry, received a startling farewell from the audience.

Following a disagreement between the two of them over Stephen’s crimes and lying, the murder occurred.

When Stephen returned from having lunch with Sarah (Tina O’Brien), he had been obliged to push the bin over and throw the dead Leo into the back of a van.

But now that Stephen has experienced murder, would he repeat the crime and emulate other evil characters?

The next villain on Corrie, Todd Boyce, is’really eager’ to perform, and he couldn’t help but draw comparisons between Stephen and some of the greats.

God, I mean, Connor McIntyre, who played Pat Phelan, I’m just so in awe of him. And then Iain MacLeod called me out of the blue and asked, “Hey, do you want to come in? “, followed by Brian Capron, Richard Hillman, and I’m just really honored. And I reflected, “What an honor.

I’m 61 years old, and it’s wonderful that someone thinks enough of me to say, “You can do that.”

During a Zoom call with producer Iain MacLeod in February, Todd learned about the plot.

I was made aware that I was going to be a murderer when he suddenly launched this plan, the man claimed.

It was so thrilling, You know, we can take Steven anyplace since he’s very much a blank canvas,’ he had earlier added.

Residents of the street should keep an eye out because Stephen seems to have the potential to replace Richard Hillman.
