Coronation Street star Tanisha Gorey has implied that her character Asha Alahan will wind up lamenting her choice to move in with Corey Brent.
Forthcoming scenes on the cleanser will see the pair wind up moving into Nick Tilsley and Leanne Battersby’s old level after Corey’s folks assume control over its rent following Dev’s intruding.
The concern is high given Corey’s manipulative conduct, however, Tanisha has clarified that Asha is seeing things through rose-colored glasses and that he is “actually the lone individual that she feels is there for her at the present time”.
“From the start when she moves out, she thinks, ‘This is the thing that I’ve needed,'” she said, uncovering that a strained experience among Dev and Corey during a visit to the level causes her to reevaluate things.
“However, when Corey clarifies that Dev isn’t invited it is very subverting and Asha starts to feel like she may have raced into things.
“All Asha has at any point needed is for her and her father to get along yet she is beginning to see that Corey doesn’t need that. Asha needs her father to be a piece of this new life she is working for herself and she feels like Corey is removing that from her.”
Tanisha proceeded to clarify that Asha’s “weakness and edginess for adoration has a major part to play” in the current storyline, particularly after her skin easing up and sexting storylines.
“Asha is clutching that and she enjoys the way that Corey is consistently there for her, she confuses it with help and care, yet we as a whole realize that Corey simply prefers the control and control.
“She is as yet giving him that force and this is a direct result of what she proceeded with her encounters with skin easing up and sexting yet additionally due to what has occurred with Nina. She is devastated over Nina is as yet finding out about herself.
