Coronation Street star shuts down rumours he is dating co-star

Jack James Ryan, a cast member on Coronation Street, has denied dating co-star Elle Mulvaney.

Since the characters Amy Barlow and Jacob Hay started dating, the actor, who just made a comeback in the ITV serial opera as Jacob Hay, has been linked to Elle.

Nevertheless, he denied rumors that they were dating in real life when he responded to fan questions on Instagram. Many of his admirers had inquired, “Are you and Ellie dating x,” he admitted.

He posted a picture of them having a good time together while out, and he wrote: “As a result, SHE WISHES, I already have a couple of these. No, it’s all in good fun; we’re simply great buddies.”

Added him: “I consider @ellejmulvaney to be a sister. P.S. Where have you been if you haven’t cast your vote for us in the Inside Soap Awards yet?”

For his fans to vote for them to win best relationship, he provided a link. The lives of Amy and Jacob, who recently battled to replace their broken hot water at their bedsit, are very different from those of Elle and Jack.

After Steve (Simon Gregson) and Tracy (Kate Ford) declared they wouldn’t approve of her relationship with drug dealer Jacob, Amy left Weatherfield. Jacob has just made changes in his life and now works for Underworld.
