Jodie Prenger, a star of Coronation Street, has commented on the persistent rumors that serial killer Stephen Reid will commit another crime.
As Stephen spends more time at the pub, the actress who plays Rovers bartender Glenda Shuttleworth made fun of the need to be watchful.

Stephen has rekindled his love interest in Jenny Connor, the landlady at Rovers, who is currently unmarried after divorcing businessman Owen Longford. He recently offered Jenny some guidance on how to revive the pub following her financial difficulties.
Jodie spoke about the ongoing plot while participating in a picture shoot for Inside Soap magazine to commemorate Corrie’s nominations for the Inside Soap Awards 2023.
Exclusive video access to the shoot was offered to Digital Spy, who spoke with all of the cast members.
Jodie stated to Digital Spy in regards to the Stephen saga: “Glenda has never liked him – ever since he took that £10 note! She recognizes it, is that right? Glenda, in my opinion, acts instinctively, and I don’t believe she views him favorably.
“But the terrible part is, he’s one of the kindest individuals in real life! Everyone queries that. They ask, “Oh, how is Stephen?” while you describe what is happening. He really is the sweetest man ever
Jodie responded, “Yeah, of course it’s a worry – because you never know what’s going to happen! ” when asked if the cast was concerned about becoming Stephen’s next victim. What if I get caught by him? Everyone would need to agree that Glenda was correct.
Jodie also talked about Glenda’s future, who will be helping her brother George in the next weeks as there is a significant transition at the funeral home.
The upcoming episodes include Todd Grimshaw bidding adieu to the company in favor of a new position with rival company RestEasy. But as a result, it becomes obvious that George and Todd miss each other much more than they’re letting on.
Our George and his funeral home face a lot of competition, according to Jodie.
Our Todd is taking a little bit of a leave of absence, so Gareth Pierce, who plays him, wanders off. And personally, I’m not happy about it.
Glenda has been using Tinder for a very long time, so it would be wonderful for her to have a little bit of a love story, she continued.
I would like to see more fun in the bar and fun with a guy because I just adore the fun she has with everyone in The Rovers!
“Corrie characters are wonderful because they are like an onion. You learn more and more about them as they begin to gradually peel back the layers.
“Glenda and George are both like that. I believe there is much to learn there, particularly about their connection with their father.
