slick businessman A few years ago, calling him Stephen was appropriate; but now? We would characterize him as broke and desperate.
In recent months, Stephen had been pressuring Audrey (Sue Nicholls) to sign the paperwork establishing her trust fund, which would have given him access to the majority of her money.
After struggling with her mental health and making an attempt to terminate her life, Audrey is now viewing the future very differently and has made a significant choice.
Audrey revealed her depression to Sarah (Tina O’Brien), Gail (Helen Worth), David (Jack P Shepherd), and Stephen before announcing that she isn’t going to proceed with the trust fund and will instead make a regular will for everyone else, with the exception of Stephen, who is just so sweet for saying he doesn’t need any of her money.
Stephen was then observed standing behind the brewery.
The trust fund was Stephen’s means of getting back on his feet, so why was he so furious now? He was yelling, screaming, and throwing trash; he was also yelling and screaming. He has nothing, that’s all.
Shona (Julia Goulding) pointed out that Stephen’s jacket was damaged, so he headed to a charity shop to buy a new suit with what little money he had left.
What made Stephen’s choice of a jacket, shirt, and tie special?
They were Imran’s (Charlie de Melo).
Toyah (Georgia Taylor) mentioned in a recent episode that she had donated several of Imran’s old outfits to charity stores during a talk.
The salesperson informed Stephen that although he may look at the additional items the “widow” had brought in, he couldn’t afford them.
Stephen entered the Bistro wearing his new outfit and joined his family, who are unaware of the true nature of his situation.
