Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson), legend of Coronation Street, returns to the pavilions of the next week, but no one but DS Glynn has her welcome.
The welfare of DS Glynn is uncertain as to why her and her family would be harmful by going home.
The detective can think of only one cause and asked Leanne if Harvey Gaskell contacted her (Will Mellor).
Viewers will know that Leanne actually called the drug lord, and the reason she came back home is her initial intent to testify at court.
Harvey has been in touch with the stalwart, and DS Glynn buys their tale of wanting to be encircled during a difficult period.
He nevertheless reaffirms the importance of providing proof in court.
‘The Harvey gang was dealing with tablets just last month, which led three adolescents to receive intensive care,’ Leanne told him.
‘I realize there’s no pleasant drug dealer here, but we made information about this batch public and they kept on selling. They knew what they were dealing with and told the children that they were safe.”
Leanne was appalled to learn of such a thing. The question is: will it sway her decision? Want to see Harvey behind bars and make sure she comes to court?
Or is it going to do as ordered the drug dealer and refuse to prove?
