Coronation Street spoilers for April 14 2023: Body found drowned in pool and Roy makes a decision

It became obvious that Rufus was doomed when he answered the door and appeared to be rather terrified. His demise is confirmed on tonight’s episode of Coronation Street (Friday, April 14) when he is discovered floating lifeless in his swimming pool.

Though Michael Bailey (Ryan Russell) is once more on the verge of passing away, it appears as though Stephen Reid (Todd Boyce) has claimed his latest victim. Will Stephen be apprehended, though?

Michael can also be a victim of setup.

Michael approaches Stephen with his cap in hand after failing to find Rufus and requests permission to stay at Underworld.

Stephen snaps that Nina Lucas (Mollie Gallagher) is his new Head of Design and that it’s too late for him.

Ronnie counsels Michael to return to Rufus’ house and try to make amends, but when they arrive, they discover it to be overrun with cops.

when the housekeeper discloses that Rufus has passed away and that she discovered his body in the pool.

After that, Stephen rehires him as Junior Manager and vows to impart all of his knowledge to him.

Will Michael detect a rat since it seems like a significant u-turn?

After a passionate night, Adam Barlow (Sam Robertson) enjoyed some love while Sarah (Tina O’Brien) was overcome with guilt for cheating.

Leanne Tilsley (Jane Danson) learns of Damon Hay’s (Ciaran Griffiths) intention to convert the restaurant into a late-night music club in order to draw in neighborhood college students.

He says he’s pleased to work the late nights and that it’s an opportunity to make a ton of money to Nick (Ben Price) and Leanne. Nick and Leanne decide to submit a late license application despite their worries.

In other news, Roy Cropper tells Evelyn Plummer that Freddie will be moving back in to live with him permanently.

Glenda Shuttleworth (Jodie Prenger), who is anxious about her first acting class, prepares for it in the community center and is thrilled when it goes well.

Ryan Connor confides in Alya Nazir at the hospital that he won’t be released until he has seen his own wounds.

Ryan acknowledges to Carla that he couldn’t get by without Alya while Alya gently reminds him that he’s been putting it off.
