Coronation Street spoilers for April 12 2023: Damon and Sarah are caught and Michael reveals exit

On the Coronation Street episode broadcast on April 12, Sarah Platt (Tina O’Brien) engages in a hazardous game as Dee-Dee Bailey (Channique Sterling) questions her regarding her relationship with Damon Hay (Ciaran Griffiths).

Sarah realizes she is dancing with the devil after ignoring caution and spending more time with Damon, especially given that she is married to Adam (Sam Robertson) and that Damon has caused extreme hardship for Nick (Ben Price).

When they find that fresh evidence will result in Damon’s release, Sarah and Leanne (Jane Danson), who are now in the thick of a case involving Damon, are not pleased.

Dee-Dee discovers Sarah and inquires as to what is going on after a smug Damon reassures Sarah that he is not out to make trouble, well aware of their chemistry.

But how is Sarah going to escape this?

She does this by informing Adam later that they should try for another kid even though just a few weeks prior, she had no desire to do so.

In a different setting, Michael (Ryan Russell), eager to advance his career, joins Stephen (Todd Boyce) for a meeting with Gazette reporter Suki.

Michael, however, becomes irritated and leaves before telling Stephen that he has been offered a position with Rufus in London (Steven Meo).

Yet that wonderful career chance will soon be out of Michael’s reach because Rufus will shortly be discovered dead in his pool.

Meanwhile, while Glenda (Jodie Prenger) works to establish her new company, we learn that she wasn’t totally honest with George (Tony Maudsley) and Eileen (Sue Cleaver). Furthermore, following a trying night, Roy (David Neilson) decides to surrender Freddie the dog to a shelter.
