Coronation Street spoilers: Debbie is left distraught as she hits crisis
In forthcoming Coronation Street episodes, Debbie (Sue Devaney) is in a terrible financial situation as a result of Ed (Trevor Michael Georgesinjury )’s at the hotel.
Ed was electrocuted while he was at work, and Aggie (Lorna Laidlaw) made it abundantly clear that she believed Debbie was to blame and that she intended to file a lawsuit.
Debbie experienced a further shock when she learned that the hotel’s professional indemnity insurance had been cancelled, making it impossible for them to contest an Ed and Aggie claim.
Although Ronnie (Vinta Morgan) suggests that she hold themed nights at the Bistro, Debbie is aware that this will only provide a small portion of the funds required to pay Ed back.
Debbie tells Ronnie how much financial trouble she’s in as they prepare the Bistro for “Psychic Night” in front of the crowd. She claims that her only two options are bankruptcy or employment with an insurance company.
Debbie starts to formulate a strategy when she overhears Ryan (Ryan Prescott) admitting to the psychic that he is having financial difficulties and is in debt. Will she attempt to get Ryan involved in insurance fraud? Will he concur?
