When Ryan Connor’s (Ryan Prescott) internet habits begin to cause suspicion, confusion and misunderstandings abound in upcoming Coronation Street episodes.

Since the horrifying acid assault that left Ryan’s face permanently scarred, he has been having issues with his body image. He started sharing pictures of himself online in an effort to regain control, and he has been using steroids to try to modify the way he looks.

On O-Vidz, a website similar to OnlyFans where people subscribe to view content that is frequently sexual or intimate in nature, he has set up an account.

Ryan Prescott explained to us how the kind of stuff Ryan posts shifts frequently.

“You have to go beyond these standard fitness shots and start with more sexual images, incentive pictures, and the more people that come into that world hooked by those pictures the more broader your audience becomes, and with the broader your audience becomes, they ask for different things,” he said.

Within a week of publishing incentive photos, he was participating in a live one-on-one session. Between sending images and him conducting a one-on-one, live, interactive session, maybe a week passes. As soon as the money starts rolling in, he is immediately engulfed by it and becomes addicted.

Ryan begins a new work in the Underworld packing department in soon-to-air episodes, but it doesn’t take long for him to receive a message from O-Vidz asking for a personal video. Ryan immediately uses the restroom and sends some naked images, but when the client requests a live stream and offers to pay £500, Ryan can’t refuse the cash.

He agrees to answer the client’s call so that he can engage in some lewd conversation. Chris Gascoyne, who overhears this, suspects Ryan is engaging in phone sex and comments to Carla (Alison King) about it.

While listening to Peter and Carla’s chat, Daisy (Charlotte Jordan) is alarmed by what she overhears and worries about what Ryan is getting himself into.She confronts him with the situation.
