Following the discovery of one of his murdered victims, Stephen Reid (Todd Boyce) will find himself skating on extremely thin ice in Coronation Street.
Leo Thompkins was the victim in question. Last September, when Audrey Roberts (Sue Nicholls) was about to have all of her money stolen, Stephen the evil killed the businessman.
Stephen took Leo’s remains to be buried after Leo passed away.
A year later, Leo’s body would be discovered on the building site that Ed and Ronnie (Trevor Michael Georges and Vinta Morgan) recently purchased, putting Stephen at risk of having his secrets discovered.
When Ed gets up, he apologizes for his behavior in the pub and finds Neil the site manager after being enticed to gamble once more.
While waiting for the purchase to be finalized, Dee-Dee (Channique Sterling-Brown) convinces Ronnie to sign some paperwork in the solicitor’s office and warns him against taking any risks by beginning construction on the property.
Ronnie goes over to the construction site when he hears his brother (Colson Smith) speaking to Craig.
Ronnie looks into the hole the digger excavated and is shocked to see a dead body.
Stephen returns to work after his trip away with Jenny (Sally Ann Matthews), unaware of what is happening.
When Stephen learns that a body has been discovered on Ed and Ronnie’s construction site, his feeling of well-being quickly shifts.
When the builder says it was definitely a man’s body, Stephen’s heart sinks after pressing Ed for further details back at the pub.
Right on schedule, Craig immediately walks into the bar and tells Jenny that the body is Leo’s.
Is the game over for Stephen at this point, Jenny wonders in shock?
