Coronation Street spoilers: Abi Webster drops bombshell on husband Kevin
After Imran Habeeb’s passing, ABI Webster has been concentrating on getting her son Alfie back.
She tells her husband Kevin that she might be prepared to return to Coronation Street after spending several weeks working with social worker Wendy Crozier.
After a drug relapse, Sally Carman’s character, a mechanic, was labeled as an unsuitable mother, and the late solicitor Imran further damaged her reputation.
But Abi has gone above and beyond to demonstrate that she can care for her child ever since he passed away following a terrible car accident.
This involved a few weeks spent under Wendy’s (Roberta Kerr) supervision while she was a resident of a newborn and mother foster facility.
Coming up, though, Abi strolls around the cobblestones with Wendy and tells her estranged husband Kevin Webster a major announcement (played by Michael Le Vell).
Kevin tells his son Jack (Kyran Bowes) that he doesn’t have time to help him with his leavers’ presentation speech and immediately starts cleaning the house in preparation for her visit.
The tiny child feels excluded, but Abi and Alfie soon show up at No. 13 to see him and his father Kevin.
Abi seizes the chance to inform Kevin that, if everything goes according to plan, she and her kid can move back in the following week.
Kevin is overtaken with emotion when he realizes that he and Abi will be able to resolve their problems as a result.
Prior to Imran Habeeb’s passing, Kevin assured Abi that he still loved her and was prepared to assist her in raising Alfie as she prepared to leave Weatherfield for Costa Rica with her child.
The two have been estranged since Kevin discovered Abi had cheated on him with Imran during a one-night affair that led to the birth of Alfie and a contentious custody battle.
However, while the lawyers hatched a scheme to keep their child away from Abi, Kevin ultimately made the decision to support Abi in leading the life she desired with Alfie.
Imran then lied in court alongside private eye Ben regarding Abi’s recovery from addiction as a result of this.
Will Kevin and Abi be able to mend their marriage?
