Coronation Street reveals third death aftermath in Stephen Reid storyline

Following the death of his third victim, Coronation Street killer Stephen Reid will continue to hide his whereabouts the following week.

After murdering his rival for business, Rufus Donahue, in shady circumstances this week, Stephen is desperate to avoid being exposed.

In the episode that aired on Friday (April 14), Rufus was discovered dead in his swimming pool, and flashback flashbacks quickly revealed that Stephen was responsible since he wanted to get rid of his adversary after recent requests for blackmail.

Michael Bailey will present his possible explanation for what transpired the following week.

Michael suggests to Stephen during a conversation at Underworld that Rufus must have entered the pool while intoxicated.

Stephen is more than willing to support this, and he hopes that the police would share his enthusiasm.

The bad guy is aware that it will make his life much simpler if the police view Rufus’ passing as a terrible accident rather than a sign of something more nefarious.

Michael’s meeting with Stephen comes as he formally starts work in his new capacity as junior manager at the factory.

Michael is blissfully oblivious of how deadly his boss is, despite Stephen’s pledge to reveal his commercial success secrets to him in the upcoming months.
