Coronation Street fans ‘work out’ Stephen’s nasty plan

After being gone from the cobblestones for around 15 years, Stephen Reid returned to Weatherfield earlier this year.

When Audrey’s relationship with the rest of her family got to a breaking point, Stephen, her prodigal son, returned just in time to save her from a bad accident in the barbershop.

To the consternation of the rest of the family, Audrey organized her money with the assistance of businessman Stephen after becoming enraged at being treated like a kid by Gail and her grandchildren.

Mother praised Stephen as a hero and even gave him control of the family trust assets.

But many of his admirers think he has a dark side. Many Corrie viewers have proposed the same hypothesis.
