Coronation Street couple Joe Duttine and Sally Carman enjoy date night in Manchester
Joe Duttine and Sally Carman, who met on Coronation Street, relished their time away from the cobblestones by going on a romantic date to Manchester.

Joe, 52, and Sally, 41, started dating in 2018 after meeting on the set of the ITV soap opera. In 2020, during the first coronavirus lockdown, they got engaged.
The epidemic repeatedly postponed their wedding-day plans, but the soap couple wed in July of this year nevertheless, and they looked cozy as they headed on a date to a romantic restaurant.
Sally, who plays Abi Franklin in the soap, was dressed in a denim dress, while Joe, who plays Tim Metcalfe on the cobbles, looked sharp in a brown baker boy hat paired with a white t-shirt and black cardigan.
To her 145,000 Instagram followers, Sally wrote: “Oh, @stretfordcanteen, you are such a joy! Throughout, understated excellence.
“a tantalizing cuisine with satisfying fare. absolutely a gem! Make a reservation for a table if you enjoy eating. Seriously, this location is unique.”
Hayley Tamaddon, a former cast member of Coronation Street and Emmerdale, retorted, “I adore it in there!”
The Manchester eatery received praise from John Simm, who played Sam Tyler in Life on Mars. He stated: “Isn’t it a complete GEM?
“Our absolute favorite restaurant in Manchester. Bloody adore that location! @stretfordcanteen.”
Joe’s on-screen wife Sally Webster, played by Sally Dynevor, continued: “Fabulous. eager to give this xx a try.”
While they stood for the camera, Sally was sipping red wine while Joe had a glass of water.
Before toasting to the camera for the second photo at the cozy restaurant, the Abi Franklin actress first hugged her spouse.
In the final image she posted, Joe and Sally are sitting outdoors with the ‘Stretford Canteen’ sign imprinted over them. Sally has added a khaki bomber jacket to her outfit.
While Sally, whose character is married to Kevin Webster, has been a member of the show since 2017, Joe has been on Coronation Street for more than nine years after joining the serial in 2013.
