Coronation Street: Cherylee Houston reveals she WILL return – after disappearing from Weatherfield

Cherylee Houston, a recurring character on Coronation Street, has announced her comeback to the show.

The actress, who portrays Izzy Armstrong in the ITV serial, hasn’t been around much lately.

Records indicate she has only made a few appearances since the pandemic started.

Ehlers-Danlos syndrome is a connective tissue disorder that she has.

She was compelled to stay at home and protect throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.

Bosses have collaborated with Cherylee to ensure that she can appear in the soap opera occasionally, but these have been few and far between.

Her most recent video call appearance occurred in February of this year.

Fans have been clamoring for Cherylee to return to the show because of her extended absence.

I know that the actress was hiding during the pandemic, but she has only made one video link appearance so far this year, back in February, asked a fan on the DS Forums.

Now, not a single character even makes reference to Izzy. Will Houston be back on the program?

Another responded: “Perhaps she still doesn’t feel comfortable given her condition.

“Just because limits have been lifted and Covid isn’t addressed every night, Covid is still out there.”

The celebrity has recently declared that she will be making a comeback.

Cherylee revealed her intentions to return to the Mirror, stating: “It would be nice to come back with a bit of a boom.

“However, while I’m getting better, I might actually come back with a little fizzle!”
