Carla supports terrified Ryan as his bandages are removed in Coronation Street

Ryan Connor (Ryan Prescott) is getting ready to see his wounds for the first time since Justin Rutherford (Andrew Still) threw acid at him in Coronation Street, and Carla Connor (Alison King) is there to support him.

Ryan was struck after jumping in front of Justin and Daisy Midgeley (Charlotte Jordan), the target of Justin’s months-long stalking.

Ryan intended to protect Daisy, who was scheduled to get married on the day in question, as Justin flung the liquid.

He received the direct blow and was left in excruciating pain as Daisy tried to assist him as they awaited an ambulance.

Ryan has, unsurprisingly, found it difficult to accept that his life has changed drastically in the wake of the incident.

Considering the next chapter in Ryan’s saga, Ryan Prescott recently remarked, “The recovery period is so long, if not lifelong.”

Psychotherapy and physical therapy are required for many years, if not your entire life. learning how to deal with people staring at you in the street, trauma therapy, and PTSD. There is a lengthy period of attempting to accept that others will now respond to you differently.

And now that the healing process has begun, Ryan must accept the truth that the bandages will soon come off and reveal his wounds.

In this brand-new video, Ryan is getting ready to look in the mirror as the psychologist watches.

Thankfully, Carla shows there to provide him support, so he isn’t alone.

They are able to smile and laugh a few times, but it’s just enough to make Ryan feel worse and serve as a reminder that the Ryan he once was isn’t the Ryan he is today.

He expresses to Carla how sick he is of the situation, but is Ryan prepared to consider his wounds?
