BBC Eastenders star Perry Fenwick used to be married to Coronation Street legend

Perry Fenwick, a cast member of BBC’s Eastenders, was formerly wed to a Coronation Street legend. They became together before they got their soap opera roles, but their marriage sadly failed.

Billy Mitchell, played by Perry, has experienced bad luck in love throughout the years, from his connection with his true love Honey to his unsuccessful marriage to Little Mo Slater. However, it appears that actor Perry has experienced his own issues with love.

The 60-year-old actor was previously married to Emma Watts on Coronation Street actress Angela Lonsdale. When Perry and Angela, both 53, first met, they were struggling actors. As their careers took off, so did their romance.

Perry was cast as Mitchell’s bad boy Billy in 1998, but since then, Billy has grown to be a lovable fan favorite. Emma Taylor, a police woman in Corrie, was played by Angela and later wed Curly Watts in 2000.

In 2003, she departed the cobbles. After being married in 2005, Angela and Perry welcomed three kids: Lucy, Jayden, and Isabella.

During her marriage to Perry, Angela had appearances in Holby City, The Bill, and Doctors after leaving Corrie. The couple appeared to have one of the strongest relationships in the entertainment industry, but they separated in 2010.

“Perry Fenwick and Angela Lonsdale have regretfully separated after five years of marriage,” a pair representative announced at the time.

They have decided not to comment further.

They simply ran out of love, a close friend of the couple at the time told the media. After several heart-to-heart conversations, they decided to call it a day. Nobody else is associated. They want to continue being buddies. Although it is tragic, they are making an effort to be optimistic, and their families are supporting them.
