Affair horror rocks Emmerdale as Wendy Posner makes devastating discovery

WENDY Posner and Bob Hope have been becoming stronger and stronger.

In Emmerdale, however, the nurse makes a startling discovery. The couple fights, and she is afraid he is being unfaithful.

Nothing, not even Wendy’s abusive ex-husband Russ who shook the titular village in 2021, appeared to be able to separate the two.

Sadly, despite residents’ wishes, life in the Dales is rarely calm.

In scenes that would appear on ITV the following week, Wendy (played by Susan Cookson) overhears Bob (Tony Audenshaw) and Bernice Blackstock talking (Samantha Giles).

The two are unaware of the terrible effects of their covert conversation, which Wendy believes has taken place during a sexual encounter.

Bob is frightened when he knocks on her home and she accuses him of having an affair with Bernice since she is so distraught and lets her wrath take over.

She pours ice cold water over him from an upstairs window, feeling betrayed and heartbroken.

Later, when Bob shows up at The Grange, where they have been working hard to renovate and reopen, Bernice is perplexed.

But is Bernice and Bob’s relationship as perfect as it seems?

When the former learns that her business partner has been suspected of having an affair with her, she is incensed.

Bernice, though, also demonstrates empathy, thinking Wendy is going through the menopause.

While Cathy (Gabrielle Dowling), who appears to be frightened, arrives to speak to her father Bob, she comes up with a plan to intervene.

What new information has she for him?

It goes without saying that Bernice and Bob have not been romantically involved with one another, albeit that is still up in the air.

In actuality, Bernice discovers a new love interest before the B&B’s formal reopening after canoodling with Liam Cavanagh once more.

When she says that a harpist, whom she obviously likes, will play for them on their wedding day, Bob is disappointed because he had hoped to once more demonstrate his DJ abilities.

Unfortunately for Bernice, everything goes wrong, and a gruesome finding jeopardizes the restoration of The Grange.
