7 Coronation Street spoilers next week: Toyah’s murder trial begins

Toyah Habeeb (Georgia Taylor), who is on trial for the murder of her husband Imran, will face judgment next week (Charlie de Melo). But could her fate be sealed if she makes a significant confession to Spider Nugent (Martin Hancock)?

Aadi Alahan and Kelly Neelan (Millie Gibson), who are getting married, are currently dealing with additional issues. Will Kelly discover Gary Windass’ guilt, though, when her focus returns to the killing of her father Rick?

James Bailey’s health could endanger his football future, turmoil breaks out at Speed Daal and is connected to Stu Carpenter’s dark history, and newcomer Glenda Shuttleworth applies for a job at the Rovers Return to show she is here to stay!

1. Toyah makes a shocking confession

Abi Webster leaves baby Alfie with her for the first time since Imran’s passing, and Toyah is overcome with sadness. Toyah, who is about to go on trial for murder, sobs over Alfie’s stroller and apologizes for taking his father away. Later, at the apartment, sister Leanne Battersby enters just as Toyah is telling Spider something!

Spider and Leanne are in astonishment as Toyah admits to lying to the police, deliberately crashing the car, and planning to murder her husband.

But with everything he has learned, what will Spider do? Given her admission of guilt, might Toyah be going to jail? Continue reading to learn what transpires in court.

2. But will she be found guilty of murder?

Leanne implores a tense Toyah to leave it to her attorney and refrain from saying anything she’ll regret in court. Adam Barlow and Kelly are both called as witnesses as the prosecution attempts to prove she committed murder. After seeing Toyah kissing Spider, Imran’s mother Saira Habeeb informs the court that she thinks Toyah was having an affair and killed Imran on purpose.

Toyah feels more guilty than ever as Leanne defends her sister in court.

She ultimately decides to take a position. What does she say, though? Will the jury find Toyah guilty or not as they announce their decision? Whatever transpires, we can expect to see more of Spider as he meets with DS Swain (Vicky Myers) to talk about his position with the intention of staying. However, did he divulge Toyah’s secret or not?

3. Kelly and Aadi’s wedding plans face more setbacks

Aadi abruptly informs Kelly’s father Dev Alahan (Jimmi Harkishin) that their wedding would take place at Gretna Green. Dev is surprised to learn that Aadi wants to tie himself to someone like Kelly, and he expresses his indignation. Aadi and Kelly plan to host an engagement party to try to win Dev over and demonstrate their devotion.

What will Dev decide? Gary tells Dev to demonstrate his support or risk losing his son. Kelly is disappointed, however, when she overhears Maria Connor (Samia Longchambon) say that Kelly will get tired of Aadi after the role is finished. Gary makes a donation toward the wedding in the meantime, and Kelly is touched as she arranges the celebrations with her inheritance. However, there is still the issue of the ticking timebomb!

4. Will Kelly learn Gary’s deadly secret?

Gary becomes terrified and asks Sharon not to wreck Kelly’s life by telling her that he killed her father when she visits Kelly to congratulate her on her engagement.

Sharon is frightened when Aadi reveals Kelly’s captivity and Kelly requests Gary’s help in locating her. Kelly later receives a holdall containing her late mother Laura Neelan’s (Kel Allen) possessions that were left behind in Spain.

When she’s looking through her mother’s photos, she’s surprised to find one that was taken on the same day that Rick was slain, proving that her mother couldn’t have committed the crime since she was in Spain at the time. When Kelly gives Gary the pictures, she presses him to tell the truth, but will he or will he not? Kelly will undoubtedly learn the truth, as Corrie’s producer Iain MacLeod stated. What will that entail for Gary, though?

5. Stu’s past causes chaos at Speed Daal

Billy Mayhew points out that Sean Tully was once homeless, just like Stu, and that he would benefit from some assistance for Speed Daal’s struggling firm. Sean agrees, but just as Alya and Zeedan Nazir believe things may be turning around, chaos breaks out.

Ryan’s unexpected proclamation of love for Alya is happening as Connor, Zeedan, and Stu get ready for the celebration. But just as it gets going, a man walks in and presents himself as a friend of Charlie, the victim who Stu was found guilty of murdering. What precisely has the man let loose at the table as the other guests watch in terror as he lifts the lid of a box?

6. Are James’s dreams over?

James was concerned that his football career might already be finished following his recent collapse and the discovery of a significant heart issue. He exclaims to his mother Aggie (Lorna Laidlaw) that he can’t wait to get back on the field since living without his beloved sport is simply unbearable. Aggie hides her concern, and the Baileys subsequently get a stack of get well cards from James’ admirers as they welcome him home from the hospital.

But will James be given the all-clear to go back to work when the manager of his team shows up to discuss James’s future?

Even if it’s obviously too soon for that, he at least expects to be able to continue pursuing his goals after a period of rehabilitation. What does James’ future hold?

7. Glenda is here to stay

Eileen Grimshaw (Sue Cleaver) complains about his domineering sister Glenda to George Shuttleworth (Tony Maudsley), and she wonders how long Glenda intends to stay. Eileen, speak for yourself. Glenda is our favorite. When Jenny Connor (Sally Ann Matthews) offers Glenda a job, Eileen fears she won’t ever be able to get rid of her despite George’s assurances that he will speak to her.

Glenda is conned by Stephen Reid (Todd Boyce), who claims she gave him the wrong change, during her first shift working the bar. But how would Glenda respond to the circumstance? Does Daisy face competition given that she wants to replace Jenny as manager?
