Stephen makes up the story that he withheld Lorenzo’s pay after discovering his theft of company funds.

Sarah is thrilled by Stephen’s work on the internet with his little great-nephew Max Turner. But given that Stephen is obviously no longer as wealthy as he claims to be, how long will it be before his lies are exposed?

Zeedan wants Craig to dig out more after learning from him that the detective Stu accused of persecution took an early retirement under false pretenses.

In prison, Stu writes to Zeedan and his grandmother Yasmeen Metcalfe (Shelley King), pleading for them to come see him.

Zeedan however persists in trying to delve deeper into Stu’s claim that he didn’t kill the young girl while Yasmeen tears them up and discards them.

Zeedan goes to visit Stu after Craig says that he might soon be released from jail. Stu discusses his case papers with Zeedan in an effort to establish his innocence.

Zeedan approaches attorney Adam Barlow (Sam Robertson) to ask for Stu’s files, but Yasmeen is upset when Adam admits he has submitted the request.

When Yasmeen confronts Zeedan about his betrayal after giving a speech about domestic abuse to the attendees of her fundraiser, Stu calls him. He begs Yasmeen to take his call, but she cuts him off right away.

Zeedan persists and meets with Adam, who informs him that it would cost £1,200 to access Stu’s case files. Alya agrees when Zeedan begs her to provide a hand so they can divide the fees.
