Will Laurel be forced to flee the community if Ethan asks Marcus out on a date?
From behind bars, serial killer Meena Jutla (Paige Sandhu) continues to exploit the villagers, but with an unexpected announcement, someone is about to turn the tables.
Someone catches Marcus Dean’s eye (Darcy Grey), and will Laurel Thomas (Charlotte Bellamy) be forced to leave the village? Rhona Goskirk (Zoe Henry) proposes to Marlon Dingle (Mark Charnock) to make up for hiding a massive secret, and someone gets the eye of Marcus Dean (Darcy Grey).
Emmerdale spoilers for the 28th of February to the 4th of March 2022 may be found below.
Meena uses Charles as a tool.
Even from behind bars, Meena continues to sow havoc, while the residents pledge to seek justice for their loved ones who have perished, even if it means exposing themselves to her threatening mind tricks. Charles Anderson (Kevin Mathurin) believes he can get her to confess to killing Andrea, and to his astonishment, she does so, detailing her techniques in detail.
Charles, haunted by Meena’s confession, forms a support group for the villagers who have lost a loved one in the psychopath’s killing rampage and calls the merry murderess to inform her that he will not be visiting her again. Meena flips and breaks up the receiver as her twisted long-game strategy to exploit Charles is foiled; what will she do now?
Marlon accepts Rhona’s proposal
When Marcus informs Rhona that she has been listed in Pierce’s will, she is shaken, making it even more difficult for her to keep the truth from Marlon that she has been in contact with the long-lost son of her abusive ex-husband. How will Marlon react when that particular secret is eventually revealed this week?
As you can expect, he reacts badly when he overhears Rhona confessing to Kim Tate (Claire King) before her own spouse. Backing himself into a hole, Rho confesses everything, and betrayed Marlon storms off, albeit the angry vet accuses him of making the delicate situation all about him, and Marcus himself begs the chef not to be too harsh on his other half.
Rhona proposes on the spur of the moment, needing to do something to save her relationship…
Marcus and Ethan, do you think they’re in love?
Marcus has just been brought in to relive Rhona’s traumatic past, but the attractive newcomer is also serving as a potential new love interest for unlucky-in-love lawyer Ethan Anderson (Emile John). It’s also about time, because the last time he had a whiff of action was with Luke Posner, a closeted tease.
This week, Ethan takes the risk of asking him out, only to be turned down by Marcus, who is eager to leave Emmerdale now that his father’s will has been read. Ethan goes all out to persuade Marcus to stay and pursue the potential of romance, with Rhona’s consent. Is this the beginning of something big?
Emmerdale’s Laurel has been forced to depart.
Laurel is heartbroken at the prospect of having to leave Mulberry Cottage, but that’s precisely what she’ll have to do now that Kim has found a buyer and given her a month to pack up her belongings, including her priceless Ashley memories, and ship out.
The irritated mother is so poor that she can’t afford to live in the hamlet she’s known for 20 years, and she considers leaving Emmerdale. Kim then makes a deal with Jai Sharma (Chris Bisson): he sells his HOP stock to her in exchange for a deposit on Mulberry. Put your pride aside, Jai, and make amends…!
Emmerdale has a lot of other things going on.
Kerry Wyatt (Laura Norton) and Dan Spencer (Liam Fox) are concerned that Amelia Spencer (Daisy Campbell) is becoming too connected with Noah Dingle (Jack Downham), who isn’t the most stable influence on the adolescent. It may come from a place of love and care, but Amelia simply perceives them as interfering in her life, and she becomes enraged and humiliated as a result. Is she on the verge of losing it?
Since Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) and Ryan Stocks (James Moore) were revealed as the mystery buyers, the shenanigans at the Woolpack have offered some genuine hilarity; the sequences in which the Dingle diva lords it over everyone could use a laugh track. Mack Boyd (Lawrence Robb), her pub partner, tries to entice a former employee back this week, but who is taking advantage of who?
