’20 weeks today!’ Emmerdale’s Michelle Hardwick celebrates expecting second baby with wife
Star of Emmerdale Michelle Hardwick announced on Twitter that she and her wife Kate Brooks are expecting a second child.
Michelle, 46, who played Vanessa Woodfield on the popular ITV show, announced that she is five months along while her ecstatic fans flocked to wish her well.
By posting a cute photo of her son, Michelle told her 117,000 followers the good news.
She stated: “We are over the moon about our wonderful news!
“I almost have a cup of tea I can rest on my bump at 20 weeks today! ‘Big Brother’
The celebrity shared a sweet photo of her son Teddy beaming with anticipation as a screen behind him announced, “Coming This Winter… Baby Brooks #2.”
At Elvis Presley’s Graceland estate in Memphis, Michelle wed producer Kate of Emmerdale in 2019.
Teddy, the son they both share, was conceived via IVF and was born in October 2020.
After having success with IVF earlier in the year, Michelle stated that she and Kate would “love” to have another child.
Michelle further stated that she hoped to thank the donor in person someday.
She stated: “Teddy will be able to learn who his father is when he turns 18 and we will fully support him.
“I’d love to meet him just to thank you for letting us be parents and giving us the most adorable little boy,'” she said “OK! Magazine heard her say.
While Michelle was carrying Teddy, Kate gave the egg.
However, the actress’s severe bleeding early in the pregnancy gave the couple pause.
Fortunately, the midwife reassured them that everything was fine.
The couple also mentioned their future plans to expand their family.
We’d dearly love for Teddy to have a sibling, Michelle continued.
“And if we’re lucky enough, fantastic – for him as well, not just for us,” she said to the publication.
After Michelle shared her exciting news, the star was soon inundated with congratulatory messages.
